THE STORY: KONA'S - THE TALE OF A MAN AND HIS DREAM

Kona's has been a dream of mine for many years. I remember the first time I went to a casual theme restaurant. The music playing, the smiling wait staff, and the great atmosphere made me feel welcome. I knew then what I wanted to do. I wanted to create a place where everyone feels welcome. Create a place where anyone can enjoy great food and laugh with their friends, leaving with a smile on their face. This dream is the foundation Kona's is built on.

WHY THE NAME KONA'S?

After many hours trying to come up with a name it just came to me. One of my nieces, when she was little, cold not say Uncle Tony. Instead of Uncle Tony she called me Kona. The name stuck. This nickname has sentimental meaing to me and fit just perfect as the name for my life-long dream.
